These three blueberry varieties are all "half high" blueberries, crosses between highbush (Vaccinium corymbosum) blueberries and low bush (Vaccinium angustafolia) blueberries. Low-bush gives the plants winter hardiness needed for USDA Zones 3-4 and highbush provides larger berries and greater productivity. These blueberry hybrids have been tested in Minnesota to withstand -40 degree winters.
